Strongly recommend for a weekend excursion

Comfortable room, friendly staff, and a great breakfast made for a delightful stay. the convenient location just a 5-minute walk from Karlsplatz adds to the overall appeal.

Everything was just right.

Awesome group trip! We explored the great art at the Alte Pinakothek and enjoyed the scenic English Garden. The breakfast was a hit with a good variety. Just a note, parking can be tricky as it’s on the street only.

The room did lack coffee, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel stay.

My children wished for more soundproofing. street noise made it hard to sleep at times.

Great for families with kids

First off, the staff were SUPER friendly! They really went above and beyond, especially during breakfast when they served some great pancakes and even checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was just a short walk from the train station, which made our travels a whole lot easier since we had kids in tow.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but you get what you pay for.

During my recent business trip, I found Wallis to be a clean hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. The location was exceptional, providing easy access to shops and public transportation. I booked the Family Suite with Balcony for two nights. The space was large enough for the four of us, a real plus. The balcony, though small, was a nice touch for fresh air. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and attentive, making breakfast a pleasure. The breakfast definitely exceeded my expectations, with a great variety of items. The location is convenient and close to the train station, making it easy for us to explore Munich. However, I ran into some issues with the front desk staff. They seemed unhelpful and a bit curt, which affected my overall impression. Additionally, the cleaning could be improved. I noticed some areas in the room that hadn't been properly cleaned, and that left a negative mark on our experience. Also, the parking situation could have been clearer. It’s unfortunate, as there are good aspects to this hotel, but those staff interactions and cleanliness issues detracted from what could have been a great stay.

I enjoyed the fantastic breakfast that included champagne and delicious fruits, and the cleanliness of the room, which exceeded what’s shown in the photos. Would absolutely choose this again!
